Week Three: Rubric

The goal of the weekly task is to give you an opportunity to dive deeper into UDL in a way that is meaningful to you as an educator. It should address your interests, build upon your current understanding of UDL, and support your role, the learning environment in which you work and the learners you work with.

The rubric below is divided into three sections: Process, Product and Post. This week's focus is Representation with the goal of creating resourceful, knowledgeable learners. To complete each attribute, mark yourself on the continuum from Benchmark, meeting a basic level through to Capstone, reaching an expert level. The rubric is intended to inform and support the planning and creation of your weekly task, and help frame your subsequent post in the Google+ community. The rubric is not intended as an evaluative measure but serves as a self-reflective guide to encourage “meta-teaching”.

A Google Doc is available. Save a copy to your drive and use to self-assess your learning each week.
